Wild Turkey’s Rare Breed Rye is a wonderful barrel proof rye for a fair price. I am not a fan of rye whiskeys that have an overpowering rye flavor. In my opinion, Rare Breed Rye hits a perfect blend of rye spice and sweet fruit and caramel flavors. This is a perfect whiskey for sipping on on a cool fall afternoon. I would also highly recommend giving Rare Breed Rye a try if you are a bourbon enthusiast looking to expand your palate.
