Remus Repeal Reserve V is a beautiful blend of rye bourbons ranging from 16 to 13 years of age. This is the fifth release of MGP’s premium lineup and is a fantastic bourbon for sipping. From beginning to end, the subtlety and complexity of the nose, palate, and finish are very enjoyable. The finish is a little short, but extremely smooth for a 100 proofer. The price is a little on the high side, but for a blend of 16 to 13 year bourbons, it isn’t unreasonably expensive.
